All classified employees and non-faculty coaches must complete two NFHS Learning Center courses prior to coaching: "Fundamentals of Coaching" and "First Aid, Health, and Safety for Coaches." The athletic director must provide the date these courses were completed in the TSSAA Portal area below:
- Click on School then Coaches & Staff.
- Click the All Staff tab.
- Locate the staff member on the list and click Edit across from the name.
- Enter the date the education requirements were met.
- Click the Edit Staff Member button to save your changes.
Once this has been done you will be able to add a non-faculty coach as a sport coach.
